Las Vegas Hotels for Kids

Our family was planning on going to Las Vegas this year for our annual family trip. I knew that Las Vegas was a place of gambling and basically lots of adult fun but I knew there were many family friendly things to do too. First off, we had to find Las Vegas hotels for kids. Apparently there were some hotels that discouraged people from taking their children. So we had to do some researching before we booked a hotel.

The Circus Circus Hotel seemed like the best choice for in terms of being kid friendly. The hotel offers circus performances everyday from morning until night. It also has a huge arcade and lots of carnival games. The Adventuredome is a great amusement park that should keep kids entertained.

The New York/New York Hotel has a huge roller coaster and also one of the biggest arcade areas on the strip. The food court area is considerably large with many different options. There is certainly much to do in this hotel that would keep entertained for hours.

The Mandalay Bay hotel has a wave pool and lazy river where kids can have fun and parents can relax. A shark reef also allows you to get close to a real live shark. This hotel will make you feel like you are relaxing on the beach even though you are in a city nowhere close to a beach.

The MGM Grand has lots of families go there because of its very large pool and a nice enough arcade area. Also, across the street is New York/New York and the Excalibur so you can get more entertainment there if you are done with the MGM Grand.

The Luxor Hotel has lots of entertainment for your kids. There is one whole floor which has an IMAX theater, arcade games, and virtual reality rides.

The Excalibur Hotel should appeal to parents who have little daughters. At night time this fairy tale castle lights up in all kinds of colors. The have some puppet shows and an entire floor of arcade games.

There are so many choices in hotels for our family but we eventually decided on staying at Circus Circus because of all the rides and entertainment. Plus they were offering a discount on the room rates so we could not pass it up.
