A friend of mine was planning on getting married soon. She went to many bridal stores in town but none of them carried wedding dresses in her size. She is a fairly heavyset woman and would require a gown that was larger than normal. She was about to give up finding that perfect dress when I informed her that she could buy plus size wedding dresses online. Not only would she be able to find a gown that fit her, but most likely they would be selling them much cheaper than in stores.
Since online bridal stores generally only sell online, I told my friend to measure herself first. For best results I recommended that she go to a seamstress to get professional and accurate measurements. If she could not find a seamstress, I volunteered to measure her because I did not want her to get inaccurate measurements if she measured herself. We were able to find a seamstress in town and she measured my friend’s bust, waistline, and hips. After that, we took the measurements and went to an online retailer of plus size wedding gowns. The retailer that we looked at sold many designer dresses like Alfred Angelo, Mori Lee, Allure Bridals, Impression, Jacquelin, and Aurora D’Paradiso.
When searching for an online store, we wanted to find the place that sold discount dresses. But at the same time, we needed to find a place that was honest. Many of the dresses cost several hundred dollars so it would be best to find a reputable seller. It would be best if the seller offers some kind of return policy especially on plus size dresses. Sometimes the dress you buy just will not fit and you have to return it.
In the end, we were able to find the perfect wedding dress for my friend. All of our friends complimented her on how beautiful her dress was and have asked her where they could buy a dress like hers.
